Chef Guizar has served in a dual role with American Liberty Hospitality, as the Area Director of Food & Beverage for ALH’s Downtown Houston hotels including the Conrad Award Winning Embassy Suites Downtown Houston and The SAM Houston Hotel, a Curio Collection by Hilton. At The SAM, he was instrumental in launching the new seafood focused, Pearl Restaurant & Bar and The Veranda by the Pearl, a unique, climate controlled rooftop venue, popular with event and meeting planners in Houston.
Guizar has focused his culinary talents to bring the freshest regional ingredients to the menu in order to create truly remarkable food. The Pearl Restaurant and Bar is a coastal-inspired journey through Houston. Through our food, we ask our customers to experience not just Houston’s flavor, but its culture as well.
